MY MISSION:  Give aspiring artists worldwide recognition of their art in developing countries, promote sustainability and trade. Help them to sell their products outside their workshop.

Through your purchase you're helping these artists and their family and for that, we thank you!

MY STORY: In 1995, I moved to Mexico and bought my first white rococo blouse from Oaxaca. Twenty-two years later my closet is full of artisan blouses, dresses, skirts, and belts. I am constantly getting stopped in the streets because people want to know where I buy these wonderful pieces. They comment on the vibrant colors and how comfortable the fabric looks.

I wear these blouses daily with a pair of jeans to work or skinny pants to go out to dress it up but you can wear them with absolutely anything.

I am a Veterinarian and I work with horses, livestock and birds on a daily basis so I need to be comfortable but I want to look great as well!

When I lived in Mexico, I had the opportunity to travel to the smaller cities where I had a chance to meet these wonderful artists that create these blouses, jewelry and beautiful wall art. For years, I would go to them to buy these items and started talking to them about how we can get them more exposure.

In 1999, my sister was tragically killed in Mexico just as her career was blooming. My sister, Lyana (also known as LOBO), was an accomplished expressionist artist, photographer, writer and acupuncturist. Through my grieving process I decided to establish this website in her honor so artists like her can have a way to display their artwork and sell it too.

In Jan 2003, I moved back to the US and currently reside in the Keys were I plan to eventually open an Aviary and Art/Clothing Gallery to display beautiful artwork from Mexico and combine my two passions, animals and art, into a place where people can visit and explore on their vacation.
